Rev. Julius Tolbert
Julius G Tolbert Sr, is the son of William and Edna Tolbert. He is one of 9 children born and raised in Charleston SC. After graduating high school in June of 1979, he entered The Congregation Of The Holy Ghost Catholic Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pa.
After spending 4 years in Pittsburgh, PA, he was transferred to Quebec Canada to continue his studies. In August of 1984 Julius started living out his call that was placed on his life. September of 1985 Julius furthered his studies and training Chicago IL.
In 1988 Julius moved to Orlando Fla, and continued Catholic practices. While servicing the neighbor communities and school, he met and married his beloved wife Patricia L Tolbert in 1997, and had 5 children.
In November of 2002 Julius accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, Upon becoming a born again believer of Christ, he left the Roman Catholic Church and became a member of the Pentecostal Denomination. While under the leadership of Elder Nettie J Williams, Senior Pastor of True Gospel Holiness Church Of Jesus, in Orlando Fla. Julius grew into spiritual maturity.
As Julius grew spiritually,he became active in the ministry. He served in the following positions at True Gospel Holiness Church of Jesus. He was licensed as the Assistant Deacon, he served on the Board of Finance Committee, Sunday School Teacher, Nursing Home Ministry,Board Members of the Men's Ministry, and Reading of the Holy Scriptures on Sunday's mornings and as well as during weekly services. Julius has taught numerous of men workshops and bible study groups for men in the following cities, Deland Fla. Plymouth, Fla. Orlando, Fla. and Woodbridge VA.
In August of 2012 he enrolled in the INSTE Bible College where he studied Biblical Theology and he completed Biblical Studies in Christian Ministry and earned his Christian Ministry Certificate in December of 2013.
He is now currentlyy faciliting online bible college courses for INSTE Bible College, he manages "The Men Underconstruction International Network " facebook page and host men's bible study via by conference calls.
